Full Day Tour to La Tomatina - World's Largest Tomato Fight

Don't miss the annual La Tomatina festival in Bunol. Held on the last Wednesday of August, people come from the surrounding villages (and around the world) to be involved in the messy day of festivities. The big day is the culmination of a week long festival which begins with a large soapy pole being erected in the middle of town. On the top is a leg of ham, the prize for anyone brave enough, or silly enough to try and scale the pole.

Artists who have appeared at this popular festival include Amy Winehouse, Arctic Monkeys, Iggy & the Stooges, The Hives, The Human League, The Magic Numbers, Animal Collective, Cansei De Ser Sexy, !!! (chk chk chk)

The festival is set in the most idyllic location by the beach in Benicassim, Castellon Valencia. This four day event ends with a beach party under the stars of this lovely Mediterranean resort.
