Loved the Venecia!

by Ianthe
(UK)

On my last visit to Valencia I stayed at the Venecia Hotel in Plaza del Ayuntamiento. This is a fantastic 2* hotel which really should be a 3*.

It was very cheap and has breakfast included which consists of a buffet selection of continental and english breakfast which really sets you up for the day. The breakfast room overlooks the Plaza del Ayuntamiento which enables you to watch the hustle and bustle of the city.

The rooms were clean, modern and a good size with comfortable beds and air conditioning! We also had a tv and balcony.

The bathroom had everything you could wish for being fully tiled with a large bath and powerful shower also a hairdryer.

The room had fitted wardrobes which also had a safe where you could store your personal belongings. All the staff were friendly, helpful and spoke English which helped when we asked for information on were to go.

The reception, though small was welcoming and has a lounge where you can relax or meet people and a drinks machine with hot and cold drinks. There is also internet access available in the reception area.

Probably one of the best points of the hotel is the location as it's right in the middle of Plaza del Ayuntamiento. It's the most central place being only a short walk to all the places of interest ie the market, all the shops on Colon and restaurants and only 10 mins from Barrio del Carmen.

I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again when I visit Valencia.
