Museums in Valencia El Museo de la Ciencias Príncipe Felipe (the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum - Valencia Science Museum) holds permanent and travelling thematic exhibitions related to the world of science and avant-garde technology.
The Science Museum is one of the most popular museums in Valencia located in the amazing City of Arts and Sciences and is an open museum spread over three floors.
The museum opened on 13 November 2000 and during this time exhibitions such as 'Towards the Cosmos' and 'Life and Genome' have introduced many to the universe and origin of life.

This museum is in a lovely location in the beautiful Jardines de Real - (Royal Gardens).

In the 18th century local sculptor, Hipólito Rovira, added the Churrigueresque doorway which as you can see is an amazing work of art.
Shortly after its completion Rivera went insane and committed suicide. The palace houses the palace apartments and a collection of ceramics from Spain and Valencia. There is also a collection from Manises which is where local ceramics are produced.
