This museum is in a lovely location as it's situated in the very beautiful Jardines de Real - Royal Gardens.

The building is thought to have been constructed in the 15th century. In the 18th century local sculptor, Hipólito Rovira, added the Churrigueresque doorway which as you can see is an amazing work of art. Shortly after its completion Rivera went insane and committed suicide.The palace houses the palace apartments and a collection of ceramics from Spain and Valencia. There is also a collection from Manises which is where local ceramics are produced.
