Palma Airport Majorca (Son Sant Joan) is a very large and beautiful airport with many lovely shops, bars and restaurants.
The airport has a proven capacity to serve over 20 million passengers and is located 8 kilometres east of the capital city of Palma Mallorca.
If you are staying at one of the many beach resorts there is a shuttlebus which is the only transfer service licenced by The Balearic Tourism Council. Price to Palma is approx 1.85 euro.

Departures traffic is split between the second and fourth floors. Check-in takes place on the second floor, while the fourth floor provides access to the various boarding modules (A, B, C and D).
Arrivals
If you are hiring a car you can collect it outside arrivals which is on the ground floor. If you disembark from a plane via an airbridge, follow the signs along the corridors to reach the arrivals level of the terminal. From there you can collect your luggage.
If your plane parks at a remote location on the airport grounds, a bus will pick you up and take you to the arrivals level of the terminal.
