Things to do at night in Valencia

Plaza del Ayuntamiento at night

There are so many things to do at night in Valencia that the only problem you'll have is finding the time to enjoy them all!

Whatever kind of entertainment you're looking for is here. There are so many clubs, discos, bars, theatres and cinemas to choose from, so you'll have no problem finding somewhere to go. Week-ends are the most lively time of the week for clubs but many of them also open during the week. You can go clubbing, visit a bar or wine and dine in one of Valencia's lovely restaurants.

Valencia is full of cultural events and there's always something good to see at the theatre or cinema. During the summer months there are a variety of films you can see in the open-air in the gardens of Palau de la Musica.

During the warmer months the city comes alive with people enjoying the moonlit nights on the terraces and open-air bars of Barrio del Carmen which is in the north-east of the old part of the city and Calle Caballeros is where a lot of the action is in the clubs and bars of the area.

Canovas Square is an upmarket area of Valencia on the other side of the Turia Gardens with Avenida Blasco Ibáñez and Aragón which is in the University area of Valencia close by. Juan Llorens is about a fifteen minute walk from Barrio del Carmen and is mainly full of trendy locals. Calle Juan Lloren consists of two rows of disco-bars which are full of life until 4am. The late night Havana Valencia is on the same street and open until 7am.

Tip! During the hot summer months people vacate the hot clubs of the city for the cooler beach clubs of Valencia.
