Things to find and do in Valencia

Plaza del Ayuntamineto

Where to start...

There are so many things to find and do in Valencia and the best place to start sightseeing from is Valencia Town Center.

The most central point in town is Plaza del Ayuntamiento which is in the Old Quarter of Valencia.

It covers such a small area that it's easy to explore on foot.

There are many buses, trains and trams coming directly into Plaza del Ayuntamiento so transport is no problem when looking for things to do in Valencia.

Estacịn del Norte & Bullring
There are many things to find and do in Valencia such as sightseeing, shopping, eating and of course the fabulous
nightlife.

The best place to start is Plaza del Ayuntamiento - it's in the centre of the city, easy to find and very close to the main station - Estacịn del Norte - which is also next to the bullring.

The Turia gardens are situated in the beautiful river bed of the old river Turia (the river has been diverted to a new cause). Here you'll find flowers, fountains, ponds, sports facilities, concert halls and last, but by no means least, the jaw-dropping, futuristic City of Arts and Sciences.

There are many more things to do in Valencia and just a ten minute drive from the town center are some of the most beautiful beaches and areas of Valencia. If you don't want to drive, there are many buses and tourist buses, the metro and trains to take you.

Historical Quarter of Valencia
The historical quarter, Seu-Xerea barrrio (Cathedral neighbourhood), is very small (it's only a few square miles), so very easy to explore on foot. Inside this area is the trendy and fashionable area of Barrio del Carmen where all the bars, restaurants and best nightlife in Valencia is.
