Easter in Valencia (Semana Santa)
5 April 2015
Easter in Valencia (Semana Santa – Holy Week) is celebrated in the maritime barrios of Cabanyal, Cabanyemelar and Grau.
The three main events are the Procession of the Palm Leaves, the Procession of the Holy Burial and the Procession of the Resurrection. The origin of these celebrations goes back to the 15th century.
The weather is good and there are many cheap flights and lots of lovely hotels in the center of town and by the sandy beaches of this region of Spain.
San Vicente Ferrer

Easter week in Valencia is extended with the festivals of San Vicente Ferrer, one of the Patron Saints of the Valencian Community.
During the festival the miracles “els altars” attributed to patron saint are re-enact by children on alters/stages in the thirteen areas of the city.
Valencia 18th Wine, Cava and Liquor Festival Valencia Community
9 – 13 April 2015
For 5 days you can enjoy Valencian cuisine at this exhibition and buy Valencia’s best wines, cavas, liquors and traditional foods.
The events is held in the Turia Gardens (between Calatrava bridge and Las Flores bridge).
Valencia Wind Festival (Kite Festival)
11 – 12 April 2015
The 18th Festival del Viento (Wind Festival) where you can enjoy flying your kite.
Held on Malvarrosa beach between Calle Pintor Ferrandis and Avenida Mediterráneo.

Valencia Boat Show 2015
16 – 19 April 2015
Valencia Boat Show is an important sailing event hosted by national and international brands.
In addition to its 70 exhibitors, there will be parallel activities for visitors with two dining areas. The Feria de la Tapa Marinera, located at the entrance of the enclosure, and VV Nautica Food & Music on the third floor of the building.

Valencia Book Fair

The 50th edition of the Book Fair of Valencia is held for 12 days in the lovely Viveros Gardens.
There are over 80 outlets with a large collection of books of all genres, from major bestsellers to technical publications or rarities.
From 11.00 – 2:00 p.m
From 17.00 – 9:00 p.m

Andalusian Feria de Valencia 2015 ~ Andalusian Fair in Valencia
24 April – 3 May 2015
The festival is situated between the Bridge of Flowers and the Calatrava Bridge in the Turia Gardens.
It celebrates the customs and cuisine of Andalusia and you can enjoy flamenco, singing, food and parades. Admission is free – hosted by the groups of Associations of Andalusia in Valencia.
Times:
Monday to Wednesday and Sunday until 23:00h
Thursday and Friday until 1:30h
Saturday until 2:00h.
