Valencia Events July 2015 ~ July Fair / Feria de Julio
This is one of the best months to visit Valencia! The Valencia July Fair is a month long festival full of concerts, and theatrical events.
There are sports and firework displays on the beach and the final day ends with the famous battle of flowers. The line-up so far includes Roger Hodgson (formerly of Supertramp).
Events take place all over the city with many concerts held in the Viveros and Turia Gardens. Entertainment ranges from ballet to rock, jazz , folk music and traditional dances.
Valencia Events July 2015 ~ Valencia Summer Festival of Films
Filmoteca de Verano (July – September)
The festival is held during the summer months at the foot of the Palau de la Musica in the Turia Gardens.
Tickets are €3.50 for one session. For ten sessions it costs €25.
Films are also screened at 18 beaches in the province of Valencia.
Valencia Events July 2015 ~ Benicassim Music Festival
13 – 20 July 2015
The festival is held every year in the seaside resort of Benicassim in July . The town is situated on the Costa Azahar in the province of Castellon in the region of Valencia.
The festival attracts some of the top names in rock. The four days of concerts, along with the weeks extra-musical activities, attract thousands to its shores every year. The Sierra d’En Garcerán are the backdrop to this spectacular event.
The journey from Estacion del Norte takes approx 45-50 mins.
Tickets cost approximately £16 return (22+ euros).
