One of the reasons why Valencia real estate is very attractive is because this lovely city is still relatively undiscovered and very Spanish.
This and the fact that Valencia successfuly hosted the America's Cup and also now host the Valencia Grand Prix in a brand new circuit around the harbor are some of the reasons why property here is so appealing.
For a long time property prices have been much lower than those of neighboring cities such as Barcelona and Madrid and those on the Costa Blanca.
As transport in Valencia is so good and there are fast trains to Barcelona and Madrid, Valencia is a great place to live.
There are apartments for sale in Valencia Old Town in popular areas such as Barrio Carmen and others such as Ruzafa or by the Turia Gardens or City of Arts and Sciences.
If you prefer to live by the beach their are many lovely apartments in the beach area of Cabanyal close to the newly built America's Port.
Refurbishment of the area has definitely increased the value of property here and just a ten minute drive from the center of town you'll find many excellent villas with swimming pools.
