Valencia Tram

Valencia City Spain

The Valencia tram at Pont de Fusta is a great alternative to taking the bus or car to Valencia beach which is just 15 minutes away from Valencia town center.

Tram Pont de Fusta ValenciaThe tram is part of Valencia's metro system and Line 4 is in reality an overhead tram and not a train. The nearest stop for the tram in the city is at Pont de Fusta.

Pont de Fusta is the name of the area and the name of the bridge which is situated opposite Serranos Towers and Barrio del Carmen. Here you'll find cafes, bars and a large apartment block overlooking the Turia Gardens. The tram stop is directly behind the Police Station.

A single journey costs 1.10 euros and a carnet of ten tickets is 5.40 euros. You purchase the tickets from the station so be sure to have change for the ticket machine.

The journey is immense fun and kids will love the way the high-speed tram bounces along. It travels alongside the many universities and colleges of Valencia and takes about ten minutes. There are no traffic jams so it's a stress free way of reaching Valencia beach.

The tram stops at the beach stops of Eugenia Vines and Las Arenas and terminates here so it's easy to find for your return to the Old Quarter of Valencia.

Tip - - There's a small bookshop called Libreria Patagonia at Pont de Fusta next to the bars and cafes. The shop sells a variety of maps and travel guides which may come in useful.
