Kismet
by Juan Kemball
(England)
Had a lovely Indian meal at Kismet in L'Elaine, very authenic food and lovely staff. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is great. They have a large terraze and a children's playground. If you are looking for a good Indain restaurant this is it.

Restaurant La Masía del Vino
by Robert Bipes
(Valencia)
Typical Spanish restaurant near Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Genuine, rightly priced regional dishes and a wide variety of wines from Spain. The owner of the restaurant makes himself a fantastic red wine which is only sold here.
Although the clientele is mostly made up of locals, waiters can speak English.
Daily lunch menu for 12,00 € Other menus from 23€, 27€ and 36€

...great atmosphere, food cooked in a forma bread oven excentric owners, we loved it, not cheap @85 euros for 2 but plenty of it - good fresh quality.
ps - possibility that the owners might be drinking the profits.

"Banyan Bar, a hidden little marvell"
by Chris
(Valencia, Spain)
Calle Comedias 5. This tiny place is the best kept secret in town. The best quality ingredients served in a simple, yet creative way.
Varied menu with local, oriental and latin influences, and a friendly and personalized service.
The first time I felt lucky to have found it, The next time I just felt happy I went back, and from the third time around, I feel like I have a VIP membership to "the place to be".
I have delivered some bad reviews in my time. When I pay for a restaurant I expect to have a good meal and also a good time.
For that reason, when someone manages to do so, in the amount of space that othes dedicate just to the cashier of a "top restaurant", I feel the duty to tell others.
Thank you and Well Done E. for the good meals and the great moments.
