Valencia Pride Festival

17 – 25 June 2016

A music festival as part of the celebration of Gay Pride all over the world. The event is part of a program of activities to mark International LGBT Pride Day.

With more than seven hours of live music and great artists such as FANGORIA, LAS NANCYS RUBIAS, HIDROGENESSE, LA PROHIBIDA and DJ GUILLE MILKYWAY, who will delight audiences in the cause for equality.

Festival of Sant Joan

The festival of Sant Joan is held between 20 and 24 June and coincides with the summer solstice. Parties are held all over Spain and in Valencia the beach is full of people having fun – there are bonfires, fireworks, music and dancing.

The 23 of June is the night of Sant Joan and is the shortest night of the year. Jumping over the bonfire a minimum of three times is considered to bring you luck for the entire year.

SEASON OF CONCERTS AT THE BOTANICAL GARDEN

Six open-air acoustic concerts until September.

This music event is celebrated in the open air under the monumental trees of a natural area inside the city . Sons al Botànic returns to the Botanical Garden with new acoustic concerts. Polock on 24 June, Joana Serrat on 8 July, Maronda on 16 September and an extra concert on 26 August.

Cost : €15.
