Puerto Pollensa

Puerto Pollensa Majorca

Puerto Pollensa is the most northerly point of Majorca Island and the beautiful village of Deia and town of Soller are on the other side of the stunning Tramantana mountains.

Set on a large bay next to the resort of Alcudia is the pretty marina surrounded by restaurants, cafes and hotels.

Many tourists visit this resort every year and it’s become very popular with the British. They love it so much that many have made it their home.

The resort is very laid back with a long sandy beach offering a variety of watersports. The water is shallow making it ideal for small children and families.

A number of famous people have stayed here including the author Agatha Christie.

She was so inspired by the area that she based the fictional hotel ‘Pino d’Or’ in her novel ‘Problems at Pollenca Bay’.
