Our Easy Spanish Recipes include various Spanish tapas and this is one of the most popular of all Spanish tapas. It's also one of the most delicious and very easy to make.
Although there are many variations of making Spanish patatas bravas they all have one thing in common. They're spicy and very, very tasty - maybe this is how they got their name - brave potatoes!
Ingredients- 5 medium sized potatoes
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1-2 dried chillies
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
Method- Wash and peel potatoes and cut into small or medium sized cubes and then fry until golden (leave in pan as you add the sauce later).
- Crush garlic, chillies, cumin and paprika together (a mortar and pestle are great for this) and then add the red wine vinegar.
- Add to frying pan and cook for a few more minutes.
- Sprinkle with salt and enjoy!
