The Triathlon in the Marina

8, 9 and 10 September 2017 in the Juan Carlos I Royal Marina.

The competitions starts on Saturday at 7:30 and on Sunday at 8:00.

The Triathlon turns Valencia into the center of national athletics for a weekend. With a limit of 3,500 entrants it includes Olympic, Sprint, Super Sprint, Relays and Women’s Triathlon.

Bonica Fest at local markets

16 September 2017

This is the second edition of the Bonica Fest which last year attracted 50,000 people from all over Valencia. The municipal markets open at night not just to offer food, but also activities and music.

Mercat Central is the center of the event but there are 14 others participating in Torrefiel, Natzaret, el Grau, Cabanyal and Patraix. Stall owners serve their most original tapas at very reasonable prices. Entrance to the markets is free.

Valencia Restaurant Week ~ IV Gastronomic Days of Arroces Marineros

Many restaurants in the Playa de las Arenas are offering special menus from 30 September – 15 October. Dishes include the traditional Valencian paella, arroz a banda, arroz del senyoret and different kinds of rice broth. Prices ranging from 18 to 38 euros.
