Getting to Valencia Beach...The number 32 bus will take you to the beach or you can take the tram from Pont de Fusta (Bridge of Fusta). The bridge is opposite Serranos Towers in Barrio del Carmen and the tram will take you directly to Valencia beach in about ten minutes.
The journey only takes about ten minutes whereas if you take the bus it normally takes about 20 minutes from Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
There are many great places to eat and Mercado Central in the Old Quarter is a great place to stock up with fresh and very inexpensive food. You'll also find many affordable supermarketsin the centre of Valencia such as the popular Consum and Mercadona.
The department store El Corte Inglés also have supermarkets located in the basement of their stores and there are many great tapas bars and cafés in Valencia Town Center.
