Alicante Airport

Just 9 km southwest of the town of Alicante


The new terminal at El Altet Alicante Airport opened on 24 March 2011.


It is the sixth busiest airport in Spain and now has approximately 100 check-in desks, 26 boarding gates and 16 baggage reclaim carousels with an automated baggage processing system.


This brand new sparkling airport has 20 shops and 16 cafés and restaurants so a great place to arrive on your trip to Valencia.


The Spanish bus company ALSA provides buses to many areas directly from the airport to places such as Benidorm.




Getting to Valencia City from the airport

  • Take the C6 bus from Bus Stop 30 (just a few minutes from arrivals) into the city.

  • Then take the train from Alicante mainline station to Valencia.


    Bus Times:
    6.30am - 23.10pm : Buses run every 40 minutes - journey takes approx 35-40 minutes.

    Price: €1.20


Benidorm-Airport Line

Avenida de Europa-Avenida Rey Jaime I-Airport (opposite arrivals and departures).

Price: €8.


Murcia-Airport Line

San Andrés Bus Station (C/Los Bolos s/n)-Airport (opposite arrivals and departures).

Price: €4.36 (single) €7.85 (return
