This is a very modern and dynamic city both culturally and economically. It's full of architecture and home to many museums such as Museu de Belles Arts (The Musuem of Fine Arts).
The region of Valencia is situated on the Orange Blossom Coast (Costa Azahar) and Castellón de la Plana has many wonderful things to enjoy such as a port, marina and a nautical club where you can take trips to the nearby islands.
Near the port is the beautiful Playa Pinar where you can stroll along the promenade, visit the planetarium or play golf on the 18 hole golf course.
The town of Benicassim is situated in the province of Castellón and is famous for the amazing international rock festival which is held here every year in an idyllic location by the beach.
Not far away are the popular towns of Oropesa del Mar, Alcossebre and Peniscola.
Trains run regularly to Castellón from Estaciňn del Norte in the center of Valencia.
