How to get to Valencia Airport

Valencia airport is very close to Valencia town center and is situated in Manises which is about 8 km west of town. Access to the airport is via the N-220.

There are many cheap flights to Valencia and the region of Valencia has two main airports.

Manises Airport is near the city of Valencia and the airport at Alicante is in the south of the region of Valencia.

Manises Airport terminal is spread over 3 floors with Arrivals and Departures on the ground and first floor. On the second floor are a selection of shops, restaurants and cafes and in the main departure area are the usual duty free shops.

TAXIS

A taxi rank is situated directly outside the terminal building and the journey into Valencia town center takes approximately 15 minutes. If you'r going to the port or beach it will take another five to ten minutes.

Metro

The quickest way to reach Valencia Town Center is with the Valencia metro.

The airport has two metro lines which link the airport to the city centre and the metro station is called "Aeroport" [Airport].

Airport Bus

When you arrive at Valencia airport take the lift to the upper floor (departures), go outside and turn RIGHT and you'll see the bus stop. There are two buses going to Valencia and they take different routes.

From Airport - Estación del Norte
The bus from Valencia Airport to the center of Valencia runs between the hours of 6.00am until 22.00pm and costs 2.5 € ... there are a few stops until you reach the central stop which is just behind Estación del Norte (main train station) which is just 2 minutes from Plaza del Ayuntamiento.

From Airport - Central Bus Station
Line 150 takes approximately 45 minutes
Arrives at the Central bus station in Avda. Menéndez Pidal which overlooks the Turia Gardens and is just around the corner from Expo Hotel.

From Airport to coastal towns on the way to Alicante...

The Spanish bus service ALSA provides services linking airports with towns and cities across Spain. From Valencia (Manises) airport the bus will take you to Alicante, Benidorm, Altea, Denia, Calpe, Javea, Gandia and Oliva etc.

Buses from the airport to coastal resorts in the direction of Alicante run approximately twice a day.

Bus Station

The main bus station in Valencia is at Avenida Menéndez Pidal which is just around the corner from the Expo Hotel and about a ten minute walk from Barrio del Carmen. They have 12 bus companies going to all major cities in Spain and Europe.
